Recently completed a commission project for a woman who has a beautiful pagoda and garden in her backyard. I enjoyed painting this for her, trying to capture the rich texture and lush colors of her garden. 30×24 oil on canvas. (SOLD)
Another butterfly-featured painting, this one 18×18 oil-on-canvas.
From a photo I took during a trip last year to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. A bright and cheery painting for these less than bright and cheery Corona quarantine times. 30×40 oil on canvas.
Seeking new subject matter during my Corona shelter-at-home, my 5-year old granddaughter suggested a butterfly while I was FaceTiming with her the other day. What a great, positive idea, given the state of the world just now. Butterfly Kisses is 18×24, oil on canvas. Enjoy!
In spite of the pandemic gripping the world right now, Spring — and all its wonder — is moving forward as scheduled. Inspired by the blossoming Candytuft growing along the stone wall I can see out my back window. Oil on canvas, 24×30.
This new 48×36 oil painting was conceived to celebrate a special time and place for my son and his new fiancee. The time was his asking her to marry him back in November. The place is a very special beach locale in Brazil where he proposed. SOLD.
Nothing says “welcome!” more than fresh-cut flowers in a quaint mason-jar presentation. 20×16 on canvas board.
I first painted a lily pond scene — somewhat similar to this one — back in 2012. I enjoyed painting this one recently, just as I did back then. 30×24
I enjoyed the playful style and color palette of this. Large canvas: 36×48
